SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026: 25,487 Posts Notification Out – Apply Online Now

Short Information: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 25,487 Constable (General Duty) posts in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Candidates who have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) are eligible to apply online until December 31, 2025. The selection process will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST), and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Candidates can submit the examination fee through online payment modes only, including Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, and UPI. No offline payment methods (like E-Challan) will be accepted.

How to Apply for SSC GD Constable 2026
One-Time Registration (OTR): Visit the official SSC website at https://ssc.gov.in. If you are a new user, click on "Register Now" to complete your OTR by providing basic details and generating a Registration ID and Password. Login to Dashboard: Log in using your Registration Number and Password on the homepage. Access Application Link: Navigate to the "Live Examinations" tab and click on the "Apply" button for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. Enter your educational details, choose your preferred Exam Centers, and provide your Force Preferences (e.g., BSF, CISF, CRPF). Unlike older methods, SSC now requires a Live Photograph. Ensure you are in a well-lit area with a plain background. Do not wear a cap, spectacles, or headphones while capturing the photo. Upload a scanned copy of your signature in the prescribed format and size. Pay the application fee of ₹100 via UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit Cards. (Note: Women, SC, ST, and ESM candidates are exempted from payment). Carefully "Preview" your application to check for any errors. Click on "Submit" to finalize your application. Download and print the final application form for your future reference.
