SC & ST: 79 cm (Unexpanded) & 84 cm (Expanded) with 5 cm min expansion.

🏃 PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) - Qualifying

⚙️ SELECTION PROCESS
1. Written Examination (Two Tiers)
   - Preliminary Exam: Objective MCQ based.
   - Main Exam: Objective MCQ based.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying.
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination.
4. Final Merit List based on Main Written Exam marks.

Minimum Qualifying Marks (Main Exam):
  - General: 40% - BC: 36.5% - EBC: 34% - SC/ST/Women: 32%
🔑 PROCEDURE TO APPLY ONLINE
Step-by-Step Process:
  1. Visit official website: https://bpssc.bihar.gov.in
  2. Go to the "Prohibition Dept." Tab.
  3. Click on Advt. No. 03/2026 for online application.
  4. Register using a valid Mobile Number and Email ID .
  5. Fill Part-I details (Personal, Category, Domicile, etc.) and pay fee ₹100 online.
  6. After payment, use Registration ID & Password to log in.
  7. Fill Part-II details (Educational, Address, etc.).
  8. Upload scanned photograph (15-25 KB, White Background) and signature (15-25 KB).
  9. Review and finally submit the application.
  10. Take a printout of the final submitted application for future reference.
Important: Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will be rejected.

  • Format: JPG/JPEG or GIF
  • Size: 15 KB to 25 KB
  • Background: Plain White Only
  • Recency: Taken within last 2 months
  • Clarity: Clear front view face (80% of photo)
  • Dimensions: 200x230 pixels (3.5x4.5 cm)
  • Attire: Formal dress preferred
  • No: Sunglasses, hats/caps, or shadows on face

  • Format: JPG/JPEG or GIF
  • Size: 15 KB to 25 KB
  • Background: Plain White Only
  • Ink Color: Black or Blue ink only
  • Languages: English AND Hindi (separate files)
  • Box Size: Sign within 4x3 cm box
  • Clarity: Clear and legible
  • No: Stamps, digital signatures, or blurry images

⚠️ Important Notes:

  1. Photograph must match current appearance (taken within 2 months)
  2. Both English and Hindi signatures are MANDATORY
  3. Use proper scanner or smartphone with good lighting
  4. Test upload before final submission
  5. Incorrect photo/signature will lead to application rejection
  6. Save original files for future use

⚠️IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
  • Domicile: Reservation benefits are only for Bihar State natives . Candidates from other states must apply under Unreserved (UR) category.
  • Transgender Candidates: Will be considered under Backward Class (BC) category as per Bihar Govt. rules. Gender will be determined as per certificate issued under Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2020.
  • Documents: All details (Name, DOB, Category, etc.) must match the supporting certificates. Discrepancy will lead to cancellation.
  • Married Women: Caste certificate must be based on father's caste, not husband's.
  • Pregnant Women: Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in PET and will be disqualified. A declaration of non-pregnancy is required.
  • No Editing After Final Submit: Details cannot be changed after final submission. For corrections, cancel application (fee non-refundable) and apply afresh.
  • Corona Guidelines: Candidates must follow all updated COVID-19 guidelines during examination/PET.
  • Admit Card: Will be issued online only on the Commission's website.
