The Mains exam is subjective type (pen and paper mode). You have to write answers in English only. Minimum qualifying marks is 50 out of 150. Without this, you cannot move to Stage 3.

This is a Computer Based Test (CBT). You will be given a passage in English on the computer screen. You have to type the same passage in the given space.

Typing Speed Formula
Required Speed (WPM) = Number of correct words typed ÷ Time in minutes
Example: If you type 500 correct words in 20 minutes → 500 ÷ 20 = 25 WPM (minimum required)

Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates get the same total marks, the merit will be decided as follows:

Second priority (same age): Higher marks in Mains exam

Third priority (same age + same Mains marks): Higher marks in Prelims
