OAVET Result 2026 Merit List Out

The OAVET Result 2026 has been officially published by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on 18 February 2026. Students who appeared for the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Entrance Test (OAVET) and Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalaya Entrance Test (OMAVET) can now check their results online. The result is available on the official website bseodisha.ac.in from 6 PM onwards on 18 February 2026.

The OAVET is conducted every year for admission to Class VI and lateral entry to Classes VII, VIII, and IX in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya schools across the state. The district wise merit list was released on 22 March 2026. The merit list includes category wise selection lists for UR, SC, ST, and Common Merit List (CML). The document verification and admission process runs from 02 April to 30 April 2026. All admissions are strictly based on the merit list approved by the Collector and District Magistrate.

Step 1: Visit the official website bseodisha.ac.in or oav.edu.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on "OAVET Result 2026 Merit List" or "Adarsha Vidyalaya Result 2026".

Step 3: Enter your Application Number or Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Captcha Code.

Step 4: Your OAVET scorecard will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download and save the result. Take 2 to 3 printouts for document verification.

How to Download District Wise Merit List 2026 ?

The district wise merit list is available for download from the official district websites.

Step 1: Visit the Sundargarh District Official Website or BSE Odisha Portal.

Step 2: Click on "Merit List of OAVET and OMAVET Result 2026" section.

Step 3: Select your district or school name from the list.

Step 4: Click on the PDF link to download the merit list. Save and take a printout.

The OAVET Result 2026 scorecard will show the following details:

• Qualifying Status (Pass or Fail)

• Counselling Eligibility Status

The result is provisional in nature. Final admission is subject to the Collector and District Magistrate approved merit list and document verification.

Admission Process and Eligibility

The admission is for the following classes:

• Class VI: Regular admission for academic session 2026-27

• Classes VII to IX: Lateral entry admission on limited seats
