How to Check NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 Result – Step by Step Guide

Follow these simple steps to check your NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 Result:

Step 1: Visit the official NTA NIFTEE portal – exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/

Step 2: Click on the link that says "NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 Result"

Step 3: You will be taken to a login page.

Step 4: Enter your credentials:

• Application Number

• Password (created during registration)

• Security PIN (as shown on screen)

Step 5: Click on the Submit button.

Step 6: Your result will be displayed on the screen. It will show:

• Your name and roll number

• Programme applied for

• Stage 1 marks (GAT + CAT)

• Stage 2 marks (Situation Test / Interview / Studio Test)

• Final status: Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for admission

Step 7: Download the result as a PDF file and take a printout for future reference.

Note: For B.F.Tech programme, the final result is declared separately. Stage 2 result applies only to B.Des, M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech, and lateral entry programmes.

Stage 2 Exam Details – What Happened?

For PG Programmes (M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech)

• Personal Interviews were conducted in New Delhi from 6th April to 11th April 2026

• Candidates were assessed on 5 core dimensions: Career Orientation, Aptness for Programme, Achievements, Communication, and General Awareness (each carrying 20 marks – total 100 marks)

For UG Programmes (B.Des and Lateral Entry)

• Situation Test (Model Making) was conducted on 26th April 2026 across 28 centres in 20 cities

• Evaluation criteria: Form visualization, creative use of material, presentation, and explanation

What After NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 Result?

1. Download and Save Your Result

Keep at least 3-4 printouts of your Stage 2 result. You will need them during counselling.

NTA and NIFT will soon release the counselling schedule on the official website. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling.

3. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

During counselling, you will need to fill your preferred NIFT campuses and specializations. Seats will be allotted based on your rank, category, and preferences.

4. Document Verification

Keep the following documents ready:

• NIFTEE Stage 2 Result / Scorecard

• Class 10 Marksheet & Certificate (age proof)
