How to Check Post Diploma DNB Counselling 2026 Round 1 Result?

Candidates can check their allotment result by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official NBEMS website at https://counseling.nbe.edu.in

Step 2: Click on the link for "Post Diploma DNB Counselling 2026 Round 1 Result"

Step 3: Enter your login credentials (User ID and Password)

Step 4: Click on the Submit button to view your allotment status

Step 5: Download and print the allotment letter for future reference

Alternatively, candidates can also access the result through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal (CWP) at https://exam.natboard.edu.in

Options After Seat Allotment (Round 1)

Candidates who have received a seat allotment in the first round must select one of the following options within the stipulated timeline:

1. Accept and Freeze

This option is for candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat and wish to confirm their admission.

• Upon selecting this option, the seat will be frozen in the candidate's favour

• Candidate will NOT be eligible for any subsequent counselling rounds

• Must download the Seat Allotment Letter from the portal

• Must report and join the allotted institute by 15 July 2026 (5:00 PM)

2. Upgrade

This option is for candidates who want to retain their current seat while being considered for a better seat in the next round.

• The currently allotted seat will be retained

• Candidate will be considered for upgradation in Round 2

• If no upgraded seat is allotted in Round 2, the Round 1 seat will be re-allotted and the candidate must join it

• Candidate will NOT be eligible for the Final (Mop-up) Round

3. No Option Selected (Neither Accept nor Upgrade)

If a candidate does not select any option after seat allotment:

• Candidate will be ineligible for any subsequent counselling round

• The first-year course fee paid shall be forfeited by NBEMS

• Candidature will be cancelled

Important Instructions for Candidates

1. Provisional Allotment: The seat allotment is purely provisional and subject to verification of original documents at the time of joining and final scrutiny by NBEMS.

2. Document Verification: Candidates must carry all original documents for verification at the allotted institute at the time of joining.

3. Fee Forfeiture: Candidates who fail to join the allotted institute or do not select any option will lose their first-year course fee.

4. Eligibility Check: Candidates are advised to ensure they meet all prescribed eligibility criteria before joining. If any deficiency is found, the candidature and allotted seat will be cancelled.

5. Reporting Deadline: Candidates who select "Accept and Freeze" must join the allotted institute by 15 July 2026 (5:00 PM) .
