Selection Process

The selection process for Agniveer Vayu consists of the following stages:

1. Phase-I – Online Test (Objective type, bilingual except English)

2. Phase-II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medical Examination

3. Provisional Select List (PSL)

What After Enrolment List?

If your name appears in the Agniveer Vayu Enrolment List 2026, here is what happens next:

1. Download and Save the Enrolment List

Keep multiple printouts of the enrolment list. You will need them for further process.

2. Wait for Enrolment Call Letter

The Indian Air Force will send e-call letters to selected candidates on their registered email IDs.

3. Document Verification

Candidates must carry all original documents for verification:

• Matriculation passing certificate (for name, father's name, and DOB)

• Matriculation marks sheet

• Intermediate/10+2 passing certificate and marks sheet

• Diploma/Vocational course certificates (if applicable)

4. Medical Examination

Final selection is subject to being medically fit as per IAF standards.

5. Enrolment

After clearing all stages, candidates will be enrolled as Agniveer Vayu in the Indian Air Force for a period of 4 years.
