🎓 Educational Qualification (as on 03.03.2026)

For Non-ITI Candidates • Passed Class 10 (Matric) with minimum 50% marks
• Minimum 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science
For ITI Candidates • Passed relevant trade test from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute with 50% marks
• Passed Class 10 (Matric) with minimum 50% marks
• Trade must be compatible as per Schedule I of Apprentice Act 1961
Important: Candidates waiting for results are NOT eligible to apply.

Mode of Selection: Merit-based selection (no written exam)

For Non-ITI Candidates:
• Merit list based on Class 10 marks percentage
• Trades allotted based on merit and candidate's choice

For Ex-ITI Candidates:
• Merit list based on average of Class 10 and ITI marks (minimum 50% in each)
• Only compatible trades as per ITI trade certificate

Note: Stipend paid as per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. No other allowances during training. Training period as per Trade Apprentices Act, 1961.

Step 2: Fill online application and upload these documents:
• Recent color photograph (20-70 KB, JPG)
• Scanned signature (20-30 KB, JPG)
• Aadhaar Card Number (or Enrolment ID)
• Scanned copies (100-200 KB each) of: Aadhaar, Matric mark sheet, ITI certificate (if applicable), Caste certificate, Disability certificate (if applicable)

Step 4: Submit application and take printout for future reference

• Only ONE application per candidate is allowed.
• Candidates can choose only ONE Ordnance Factory from Annexure-1.
• Aadhaar Card is mandatory (except for J&K, Ladakh, Meghalaya, Assam).
• Name, father's name, and date of birth must match with certificates.
• Keep mobile number and email ID active – all communication will be sent there.
• No hard copy of application needs to be sent.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical exam.
• Training duration as per Trade Apprentices Act, 1961.
• Apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment.
