| Step 1 | Go to the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process if not done earlier. | |
| Step 2 | After OTR, log in with your credentials. Click on the 'Apply' link for 'Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026' under the Live Exam tab. | |
| Step 3 | Fill in all required details in the online Application Form, including Educational Qualifications, Translation Experience, Post Preferences, and Exam Centre choices. | |
| Step 4 | Capture your live photograph through the application module and upload your scanned signature as per the specified dimensions (6.0 cm x 2.0 cm, 10-20 KB). | |
| Step 5 | Pay the online application fee of Rs. 100/- if you are not exempted. | |
| Step 6 | Submit the application. The status will show as 'Application Received'. Download and print the final application form for your records. | |

| Reservation & Suitability | Reservation applies for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD as per Govt. orders. Posts are identified suitable for various benchmark disabilities. There is no reservation for ESM in Group 'B' posts, but age relaxation is admissible. | |
| Document Verification (DV) | Candidature is provisional. Original documents (Educational Certificates, Caste/Category, Experience, Disability certificate, etc.) will be verified by the User Department/Organization after the final result. | |
| Scribe & Compensatory Time | Candidates with benchmark disabilities in blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected), or cerebral palsy can avail scribe/assistive technology. Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour is provided. | |
| Key Points | Only one application is allowed. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date to apply. Name, Father's name, Mother's name, and Date of Birth must exactly match the Matriculation Certificate. For BRO posts, only male candidates are eligible, and they must meet stringent physical/medical standards. | |
