1. What is the selection process for RCF Kapurthala Apprentice 2025?
The selection is purely based on a Merit List prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (10th) and ITI examination. There is no written test or viva.
2. What are the minimum marks required in 10th to apply?
Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
3. Is there any application fee for SC/ST and Female candidates?
No, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories and all Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. Only General/OBC/EWS male candidates need to pay ₹100.
4. Can I apply for more than one trade?
No, a candidate can apply for only one trade. Submitting multiple applications for different trades may lead to the rejection of all applications.
5. What is the duration of the Apprentice training at RCF?
The training period for the selected Act Apprentices will be 01 year as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and Railway Board rules.
