Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Local Bank Officer (LBO) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). The recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 545 vacancies across 17 states.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 20 July 2026 to 09 August 2026. Candidates can apply for only one state and must be able to read, write, and speak the mandatory local language mentioned for that state.

• Candidates can apply for only one state.
• Applying for one state will make the candidate ineligible to apply for another state.
• Selected candidates will be posted within the selected state until completion of 9 years of service or promotion to SMG Scale IV, whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates must execute an Indemnity Bond to serve the Bank for at least 3 years.
• If a selected candidate leaves before completing 3 years of service, the candidate must pay Rs. 2,00,000/- as mentioned in the notification.
• Selected candidates will remain on probation for 2 years from the date of joining.
• Candidates must maintain a minimum CIBIL score of 680 or above at the time of joining.
• The CIBIL score is not a pre-condition to apply.
• Candidates with no bank account are not required to produce CIBIL status.
• Candidates must possess a valid Aadhaar card.
• The Bank may conduct Aadhaar verification at different stages.
• Candidates who previously worked in PNB or its merged/amalgamated entities and were discharged for reasons other than VRS/Resignation are not eligible.
