Bank of Baroda Apprentice 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Before you apply, check all eligibility conditions carefully. Even one mismatch can get your application rejected.
Educational Qualification: You must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. For NATS registered candidates, the date of passing graduation should not be more than 4 years before the cut-off date (01.05.2026).
Age Limit (as on 01 May 2026): Your age must be between 20 years and 28 years. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will get age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Important Conditions:
- Candidates who have already done apprenticeship in BOB or any other organization are not eligible
- Candidates who have been terminated mid-way from any apprenticeship are not eligible
- Candidates with job/training experience of 1 year or more after graduation are not eligible
- Ex-Servicemen are not eligible for this apprenticeship

Bank of Baroda Apprentice 2026 – Selection Process
Selection will be done in three stages. You must clear all three to get selected.
Stage 1 – Online Examination
The exam will be objective type (MCQ based) with 100 questions and 100 marks. Total time will be 60 minutes.

Important: There is NO negative marking in this exam. The exam will be remotely proctored, meaning you can appear from your home using a smartphone, laptop, or desktop with a front camera and stable internet connection.
SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
Stage 2 – Document Verification
After qualifying the written exam, candidates will have to appear for document verification at a centre within the applied state at their own expense.
Stage 3 – Local Language Test
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they applied for. This test checks reading, writing, speaking, and understanding. Candidates who have studied the opted local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempted from this test.
Stage 4 – Medical Examination
Final engagement is subject to being declared medically fit as per the bank's requirements.

Bank of Baroda Apprentice 2026 – Stipend and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 for the entire 12-month training period. No other allowances or benefits will be provided during the training.
After successfully completing the apprenticeship, candidates will receive an Apprenticeship Certificate based on marks scored in the final assessment test.
Please Note: This is not a regular job. Apprentices will not be treated as Bank of Baroda employees and will not get any employee benefits. The bank has no obligation to offer regular employment after training completion.
How to Apply for Bank of Baroda Apprentice 2026 – Step by Step
Applying for BOB Apprentice 2026 is a two-step process. First register on the government portal, then apply through BFSI SSC.
Step 1: Register on the government apprenticeship portal — apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (NAPS) and/or nats.education.gov.in (NATS). This step is mandatory.
Step 2: After NAPS registration — go to apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/apprenticeship/opportunity, search for "Bank of Baroda", click View and then "Apply for this Opportunity." After NATS registration — login at nats.education.gov.in and go to "Apply against advertised vacancies."
Step 3: You will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com inviting you to fill the final Application cum Examination Form on the BFSI SSC portal.
Step 4: Fill in your personal details, select your preferred state, choose up to 3 preferred training locations, and fill category and PwBD status.
Step 5: Pay the application fee online through the BFSI SSC payment link.
Step 6: Note down your Enrolment ID (from NATS) or Apprentice Registration Code (from NAPS) for all future correspondence.

What Happens After Selection
Once selected and allotted a training location, you will undergo 12 months of On-the-Job Training at a Bank of Baroda branch. At the end of the training, you will appear for a final assessment test and receive an Apprenticeship Certificate based on your performance.
After completion, you will be automatically relieved from the work area. Bank of Baroda has no obligation to offer regular employment, but the banking experience and certificate are a strong advantage for future bank job applications.
