To pass the HBSE Class 10 board exam, every student must score at least 33 percent marks in each individual subject. This includes theory and practical or internal assessment separately. Students must also score 33 percent in the overall aggregate. If a student scores below 33 percent in any single subject, they will get a fail or compartment status for that subject. This applies even if the overall percentage is above 33 percent.
