• Total Marks: The Computer Based Test (CBT) is conducted for a total of 100 marks.
• Correct Answer: Each correct response awards the candidate +1 mark.
• Incorrect Answer: A penalty of ⅓ mark (0.33 marks) is deducted for every wrong answer.
• Unanswered Questions: No marks are awarded or deducted for questions left unattempted.

Example Calculation: If a candidate attempted 90 questions, with 72 correct and 18 incorrect responses:

• Marks from correct answers: 72 × 1 = 72 marks
• Negative marks from incorrect answers: 18 × 0.33 = 5.94 marks (approximately 6 marks)
• Final Estimated Score: 72 − 6 = 66 marks

The Railway Recruitment Board provides candidates with an opportunity to challenge any discrepancies found in the provisional answer key. The objection window is open from 19 March to 27 March 2026 (up to 10:00 AM). Follow the procedure below to raise objections:
