⚙️ Selection Process (3 Stages)

Stage 1 - Preliminary Examination (Screening):
• 2 Papers (GS & Aptitude) - 200 marks each, 2 hours, Objective MCQs
• Negative marking: 1/3rd marks deducted per wrong answer
• Qualifying marks: UR 33%, Reserved 23% in each paper
• Merit: Based on Paper 1 (GS) only - 15 times candidates shortlisted

Stage 2 - Main Examination (Descriptive):
• 7 Papers (Language, Essay, GS I-V) - 1400 marks total
• 3 hours each, Conventional type
• Merit: Based on Main marks - 3 times candidates shortlisted for Interview

Stage 3 - Interview/Personality Test:
• 100 marks
• Final merit = Main Exam (1400) + Interview (100) = 1500 marks
