Eligibility Criteria - Paper 1 (Primary Level - Classes 1 to 5)

  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
  • 10+2 with at least 45% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE 2002 norms - for older batches)
  • 10+2 with at least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  • 10+2 with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) + 2-year D.El.Ed

Note: SC/ST/PVTG/BC/EBC/PwBD candidates get 5% marks relaxation.

Eligibility Criteria - Paper 2 (Junior Level - Classes 6 to 8)

  • Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) + 2-year B.Ed / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular)
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE norms)
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 45% marks + B.Ed (for older batches, NCTE 2002 norms)
  • 10+2 with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed
  • 10+2 with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed / B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks + B.Ed (Special Education) - RCI recognized
  • Master's Degree with at least 55% marks + 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

Subject Specific Requirements:

  • For Math & Science Teacher: Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Agriculture or Mathematics
  • For Social Science Teacher: Bachelor's degree in Arts/Humanities/Social Science/Commerce/Management
  • For Language Teacher: Bachelor's degree in concerned language (Hindi/Sanskrit/Urdu/English)

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates appearing in final year of qualifying exam can also apply provisionally
  • Both Paper I and Paper II can be applied together in a single application

  • PwD candidates (Blindness, Cerebral Palsy, Both arms affected) get 30 minutes extra time and scribe facility
